YOGA & WELLNESS
Once per day we will practice yoga or meditation in a variety of amazing locations. Imagine a morning practice under a thatched roof with uninterrupted views of the nature reserve. Or, an afternoon session on a wooden deck overlooking the stunning savanna. This will be the most wonderful and unforgettable wellness experience in nature. Your host, Shari will guide you through a vinyasa flow, pilates core and/or meditation as well as restorative and stretching sessions. As always, Shari will listen to what the group needs and adjust accordingly for the best yoga experience! ALL YOGA SESSIONS ARE OPTIONAL. No experience needed. PLEASE NOTE: This is not a typical ‘yoga retreat.’ We will practice per day, but yoga is not the focus of our dreamy escape!

DESTINATIONS & ACTIVITY HIGHLIGHTS

OKAVANGO DELTA:
Situated deep within the Kalahari Basin, the Delta is characterized by meandering deep water channels lined with papyrus reeds that open up into larger lagoons and islands; these in turn give way to seasonal floodplains and eventually large tracts of dry land where animals congregate.

KHWAI:
On the outskirts of the beautifully preserved Moremi Game Reserve, is a wildlife-prolific and varied ecosystem which provides a patchwork of lagoons, shallow flooded pans, open grass plains and woodland forests. The Khwai area is without a doubt one of the most scenic areas in Botswana.

MOSI-OA-TUNYA NATIONAL PARK: Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park is located between Livingstone and the Zambezi River, and at only 66 km2 (25mi2) is Zambia’s smallest national park. It extends from the Batoka Gorge and continues along the Zambezi River, just above Victoria Falls. Livingstone itself borders on several ancient wildlife migration routes and river crossing points, some of which are still frequented by elephants.

HWANGE NATIONAL PARK: Hwange National Park is situated in western Zimbabwe and is the country’s premier game reserve. With easy road and flight access from both Victoria Falls and Bulawayo, the reserve is extremely popular with both local and international tourists. Hwange is renowned for its huge elephant and buffalo herds, sable and other rare antelope as well as an excellent concentration of large predators including lion, leopard, wild dog, hyena, and cheetah. Birders will find plenty to keep them busy with over 400 species of birds recorded and the park is especially known for its spectacular sunsets.
